FRANK HUYGHE : WORLDTEMPUS, THE QUIRKY INTERVIEW

Watchmaking enthusiast since childhood, certified scuba diving instructor since the 80’s, Frank Huyghe specialized in the exploration of sunken wrecks, and in 1996, decided to create RALF TECH, a brand of technical scuba diving equipment dedicated to professional and military divers.

 

During the preparation of the WR1, the world depth record in autonomous deep diving, he decided to embark on the realization of a prototype watch capable of approaching -400 meters. The diver reached -330 meters on July 5, 2005, wearing the first RALF TECH watch, the WR1.

 

Since then, Frank Huyghe has decided to devote 100% of his time to the creation and development of his watches, and RALF TECH has become a well-known and recognized watch brand. His experience in professional scuba diving and watchmaking has enabled him to offer the fruits of his labors to professionals (since 2005) and the general public (since 2010).
